I heard on my local FM rock station a commercial aired by the radio broadcasters ( association?) and it hit me like a ton of bricks really. Radio works just as it is. If you mess with it by making sure the big labels capitalize on profits gained by a revamped system be very sure that you don't ruin the simple integrity of advertiser supported radio that was standardized so long ago. For the musician there is more change now than ever. We can now record for the cost of a computer and a few good programs. In fact you don't even have to be a musician to make music anymore.
