Your reactions when you meet the Buddha statues and Buddhist things seem auspicious, but don't haste and be sure
1. Make sure you understand the main points of Buddhism before you commit yourself.
2. Make sure your interest comes from your heart, and isn't just a transient whim or fascination for something exotic and different.
3. Make sure you want to become a Buddhist because of positive feelings for Buddhism, NOT because of negative feelings for Christianity.

It's a funny old business, having a baby. Apart from the major bafflement that you now have a baby, you are suddenly embroiled in the most binary arguments: to breastfeed or not to breastfeed; to Gina or not to Gina; to vaccinate or not to vaccinate. It's not enough for you to agree with something, it has to be as good as law. If you disagree with something, it's not enough for you not to do it – you need everybody else not to do it, too. Your entire identity is built on your decisions. It's a bit like a fervent belief in God, except you don't get any me-time on a Sunday morning.

Perhaps the juiciest thing to come out of the launch today, though, happened during the Q&A session of the launch press conference, where one of the company’s executive vice presidents apparently noted that Apple is in the process of manufacturing an AWS-compliant iPhone and that we should “expect an announcement in the coming months” regarding Vidéotron’s launch. That certainly lends credence to recent rumors that T-Mobile USA is preparing to offer the iPhone — like Vidéotron, it uses AWS 3G — but just as with the perpetual Verizon rumors, we’re going to hold off on calling this one gold until we see the units on a store shelf.

# I am most certainly pulling for Little Miami to upset the establishment in the FAVC Cardinal Division and beat out Kings and Turpin for the division title. It certainly won't be easy ... but here's hoping the right arm of Kyle Cook can get the Panthers into the playoffs. Heck, if they do get to week 11 ... maybe we'll cover it here.
# Anybody want to pick a favorite in the FAVC Buckeye Division? Anderson, Winton Woods, Milford, Harrison and Loveland are all 4-1 after five games. And Glen Este, at 2-3, is also very good and has lost to good teams. I'll take Anderson in the division ... but that should be fun to follow the rest of the season.
